There is more than one artist with this name: 1. Parks was a solo project of composer and musician Igor Bystrov from Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. He created music since 1990 as Parks by building his atmospheres from layered sounds, adding some very strong melodies to them, and some sparse rhythms to complete the "ambient pop" feel. Igor Bystrov passed away in June 2016. http://www.facebook.com/parksmusic 2. Parks was a Latvian new wave from Jūrmala, Latvia that formed in 1988.
