Paranoid Americans was a project masterminded by Dallas multi instrumentalist, Abe Randle. Although originally grouped in with simular slacker rock outfits in the Car Seat Headrest fan community, Paranoid Americans found their footing in the DIY community mixing aggressive breakbeats, blistering guitars, and deadpan vocals. Throughout Paranoid American's lifespan, they were heavily associated with the underground friend's house records scene, and frequently collaborated with carter c and Gustavo Nome
