
About Paquito Guzman
Paquito Guzman who was born (Frank Guzman Geigel) was born in Santurce P.R. on November 20,1939. He grew up in Catano, PR where at an early age he showed an interest for (boleros) slow trio songs. He was invited to sing in two television stations. At age 20 he moved to Bronx, NY where he worked for a record shop and recording studio. There he recorded his first songs which were not very successful. In 1960 he met Joe Quijano who recorded him in a salsa charanga mix with Bobby Valentine.
