Ottavio Bargagni (Brescia or Salo, 1550 [NG: 1570] - Mantova, 1632 [1640]). Bargagni was an organist in the Cathedral of Salo in 1595, in the Cathedral of Brescia from August 1604. From 1607 to 1627 he held the organist position at the court of the Duke of Mantua in the church of S. Barbara, from which on March 26 1627 he obtained a pension. According to some, Bargain died in Udine where he was organist for a few years in the church of S. Barbara.
