
About Orlando Vallejo
Orlando Vallejo was born in Habana Cuba April 30th 1918. During the 1930s-40s he became one of Cuba’s most famous “bolero” musicians. Due to the economic nature of the country at the time, he was not able to make much fortune from his music. He was known to occasionally play with Cuba’s “Orquesta Aragón”. Around the 1960s Vallejo moved to the United States. He passed away in Miami, Florida January 20th, 1981 at the age of 61. Boleros originated in Cuba and has been developed in other Latin American countries.
