Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Matt Kilroy didn't grow up on the classics and he certainly can't name all the members of "The Stones" or even which album The Beatles released last. He grew up on childish, immature pop punk; He thrived on adolescent alternative, becoming a product of that awkward transition from the 80's to the 90's and leaving him just a little unsure of how to handle the 21st century.
