With Orchid's freshman album Soul : orchidbeats.bandcamp.com hypnotic and heavily hardware-based recording techniques are used throughout the record as Orchid tries to stay away from computers and navigates through the sound spectrum with a microsampler,iphone and hardware synths like the yamaha PSS-680 (from the 80's).
