About Orango
Orango was formed in Oslo in 1999 by three friends with a shared passion for classic rock, three-part vocals, and hand-crafted music. The founding members were Helge Bredeli Kanck (guitar/vocals), Trond Slåke (drums/vocals), and Karl-Joakim Wisløff (bass/vocals), who knew each other through family and military connections. Initially, the band included a keyboardist, but logistical challenges led to the band quickly becoming a trio. They first recorded the EP Mind and Money in 2000, followed by Something Good in 2001.
