About Oracles Always Lie
Oracles Always Lie is a four piece-band located in Istanbul, Turkey. The band’s name comes from the libretto of Igor Stravinsky’s opera “Oedipus Rex”. Originally the band was inspired by early post-rock bands. In general their sound has an amenable and mellow character although it sometimes carries the possibility for getting more incensed or aggressive in style. They self-released their first EP, titled "We'll Welcome You Next Time", in September 2008
