About Opium Warlords
Opium Warlords is a drone/avant garde metal band from Lohja, Finland, founded in 2004 by Sami Albert Hynninen of Reverend Bizarre, The Puritan and The Candles Burning. The band's name was taken from a biography of Dee Dee Ramone. The band has had various collaborators, but the key line-up remains Hynninen on strings, percussion, fx, voice, songwriting and production, Erkki Virta on drums, Laura Länsimäki on keyboards and Jouni Leppikangas on co-production, programming and additional strings.
