There are (at least) two bands called Open Road. 1. Open Road was a short-lived British progressive band from the early 1970s, established by two musicians ('Candy' John Carr and Mike Tomson) who had previously backed Donovan on his 1970 LP, Open Road. Open Road released just one album (1971's Windy Daze) and a stand-alone single ('Swamp Fever' b/w 'Lost And Found', also in 1971). A second LP was recorded in 1972, but never released, as Open Road disappeared.
