About One Step Ahead
Formed in the Southern California Hardcore scene of the late 1980's, One Step Ahead brought melodic influenced hardcore with two separate releases. The first EP "Breaking The Silence" (12") was released in early 1990 on Nemesis records. It was followed up with a 7" single (I Alone/Remission) in 1991. Later on, the two releases were combined into a CD also from Nemesis records. Influenced by bands such as Dag Nasty, Verbal Assault, and early emo bands such as SoulSide
