One Lifeless Eye is the audio counterpart to the visual art of James McCrea. The name Narcotic Dreams was dropped in lieu of One Lifeless Eye in 2007 when the project became more focused on nightmare visions and cryptic personal references with more emphasis on composition than experimentation. Live performances are automatic, using few pre-concieved musical parts. With each piece of music, whether created spontaneously during a live performance or meticulously arranged over time
