About Onara
onara began in a Rhode Island basement around 2004 (estimated) and has seen many incarnations, and has at one time or another included a DJ, multiple guitarists, a keyboardist, and perhaps dozens of different singers and drummers. Three founding members (of which only Rob Iafrate remains) moved to Pahrump, Nevada, just west of Las Vegas sometime in 2005 or 2006. After about a year or so of performing in Vegas as an instrumental trio, the founders met singer Ron Ferraro, who had recently moved to Pahrump from Hawaii.
