About Ohnesorg

Ohnesorg is a Norwegian music group based in Oslo. They play music in the radical folk music tradition. They write their own material, but they also do interpretations of different protest songs from all over the world. The band has worked with material originating from the german poet Bertolt Brecht, songs from the Spanish civil war and the resistance against the nazis during World War two, songs from the Latin American nueva canción tradition as well as modern punk bands.
