OGRE YOU ASSHOLE is a Japanese band formed in Suwa, Nagano, Japan in May 2001. Their music used to be more indie-rock in the early days, but also has post-punk elements. The latest releases have heavy shoegaze, post-rock, psychdelic and krautrock influences. They draw influences from Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, Fugazi, Gang of Four, Talking Heads, Pavement, Pinback, and Television. Members: 出戸学 (Manabu Deto) (guitar, vocals) - Born in Hara Village , Suwa District . Graduated from Suwa Futaba High School in Nagano Prefecture
