About Obsidian Blue
Clarence Wesley Jr, also known as Obsidian Blue, was born in Jacksonville, NC on April 29, 1978. He started making music in 2000, but he has been involved with music as young as 8 years old, when he first started playing piano. He started on trumpet in his middle school band, then moved on to baritone and tuba at Richlands High School. He continued playing tuba at North Carolina Central University, where he became first started getting in to classic jazz artists and becoming more familiar with 70's R&B artists.
