fist (originally called axe) are one of many New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands to have had their name stolen by an artist that doesn't even come from an English speaking country. The band were most notable for their early single Name, Rank and Serial Number as well as two appearances on the legendary Neat Records sampler compilation Lead Weight. Along with tygers of pan tang and white spirit, Fist were one of the first three metal bands to release a single with Neat Records
