NovaThrone is a 5-piece progressive death metal band from Covington, Louisiana. They utilize 8-string guitars alongside ambient, space-oriented key sounds to achieve their own blend of modern death metal. NovaThrone originally formed under the name Meridian in mid 2012, and shortly after, released their debut full-length "Paradigm". Released through Total Deathcore, the album had an overall warm reception. Since the release of Paradigm the band underwent a name and style change
