About Not A Number
Not a Number is a solo project from Germany, which started around 2007 as an experiment to try out different music techniques and ideas. The name Not a Number (NaN) is taken from computer jargon where it stands for an undefined value. Another aspect of the name is that the artist behind it comes from a computer science background and wants to do other things too than just manipulating numbers. The music ranges from simple synth pop, over techno to almost classcial music influenced by artists like Aphex Twin
