About Norman Fairbanks
Norman Fairbanks (www.normanfairbanks.com) is an audio concept art project officially started in 2003 with the mission to freely alienate, process and melt artefacts from the vast panopticon of American mass media with found noise, selected field recordings and specifically generated electro-acoustic elements to a) investigate new tonalities in sound and b) create a context-free, unbiased, neo-expressionist audio witness and reflection of contemporary American culture.
