About Norma Loy
Norma Loy is a coldwave band formed in 1981 in Dijon, France. Norma Loy is an anagram of "Nom Royal" (Royal Name). Usher and Chelsea met in 1977. This marked the beginning of a close collaboration, influenced by the punk movement which lead them to produce several works. They published 3 books, organized exhibitions and performances and started up music with the band Metal Radiant (noise punk and Stooges’ spirit), then with Coit Bergman (more electronic and influenced by Suicide).
