About NOrchestra
Norchestra is a Jazz/Classical band, from Norway. Norchestra began playing together 1999, when the members met in the music department at the Skeisvang High School. At this time, when composer and multi-instrumentalist Alf Wilhelm Lundberg composed "Moon and Sun, Clouds and Wind", the concept of mixing through-composed classical composition with fresh, energetic and spontanious improvisation was born. They had their concert debut in the end of 2000, when they played a 2-hour concert in Festiviteten, Haugesund's Grand Concert Hall.
