About Nocturnal We
PHILIPPINES Nocturnal We started out as a project between Erick Encinares (Sleepyheads) and Alex Paita (Sleepyheads, Mint Car) and Clifford Portilla (Kid Auto Races at Venice, Styrene). From jamming in the studio as a trio the band evolved into an ambient chamber-folk group when violinist Yul Garrido and keyboardist Carol Pajaron came in. Though devoid of a drummer (Clifford left for personal reasons), they were able to record an album without even knowing they were already making one.
