No Safety was an early '90s experimental rock quintet, headed by singer/guitarist Chris Cochrane and electric harpist Zeena Parkins. Their sound is highly unique - guitar and percussion-heavy, with intricate syncopated rhythms and subversive, yet catchy vocals. Their first album, This Lost Leg (RecRec) was released in 1989; it was followed by Spill (Knitting Factory Works, 1992).
