
Niningashi was a short-lived Japanese acid folk band best known for their sole 1974 release, Heavy Way, a private-press album that has since become a cult classic among collectors and fans of psychedelic folk. The group was formed by Kazuhisa Okubo, a pharmacy student at the time, who chose to channel his passion not into pharmaceuticals, but into music.
