Nic TVG is a Drum Funk/Drum and Bass producer from Southern California. His style is often compared to Macc and dgoHn. Sampling almost entirely from vinyl and arranging in Sound Forge adds a rough and unfinished quality often with accidents left in. Nic runs the label Pinecone Moonshine (http://www.pineconemoonshine.com) as a collection of Drum Funk and other abstract and ambient music. Majority of the tracks are melancholy collages of noise, heavily processed samples, and atmospherics driven by broken break beats and heavy sub.
