There are four bands by this name: 1 - German electronic duo. 2 - Portugese punk band. 3 - UK jazz group. 4 - Grindcore/Powerviolence band from Vancouver, BC. 1. In 1997 Daniel Myer (haujobb, hexer, clear vision etc.) and Andreas Meyer (Forma Tadre) released "-273°C", the first NEWT album. Inspired by electronica and drum'n'bass artists such as Aphex Twin, Photek and Autechre. NEWT was released by Quantum Loop Recordings in the USA.
