There are at least 2 groups named New Tradition: 1) New Tradition is a bluegrass outfit that is firmly rooted in the gospel. The group came together in the early '80s with the intention of remaining a regional phenomenon. However, New Tradition soon found itself playing 200-plus shows a year and moving numerous copies of their albums.
