About New Shack
New Shack is Cat Leavy and Eric Robertson, a synthwave duo from Provo, Utah, US. Together they create a sonic dreamscape of retro synths and off-kilter beats that support an idiosyncratic, near childlike vocal. Their EP is a culmination of signature new shack sound: nursery rhyme melodies, detuned instrumental leads, and rhythmic foundations both danceable and melancholy. Unlike many acts, New Shack produces almost completely via virtual sound exchange.
