There was a time when bands were content to shoe-gaze during performances, letting lyrics fall limply from their mouths, standing there preoccupied with poseur chic and looking cool rather than entertaining and encouraging their audience to enjoy themselves! NeverSayDie embrace the idea of giving their crowd a spectacle and injecting some energy to the proceedings… Like most suburban settings, Cannock, a town 20 minutes north of Birmingham, seemed only to provide a landscape for small-mindedness and very little creative output.
