About NC tha Great
Denver native, De’Aundré “NCtG” Davis, began his journey at age 9 experimenting with percussion as well as being formally trained to play the trombone. After learning to play these instruments, he taught himself how to play the piano as well as the trumpet, all of which have had a profound influence in his music. In 2003 he began working with FL Studio and started composing his own beats inspired by the mainstream rap genre, within a year “NC” was creating his own emergent style of music.
