About Nanbanjin
Nanbanjin are a mix of both ethnicities and styles, a half-cast bastard of a band. Melodious vocals weave their way around angular arrangements of guitar, bass, drums and other electronic noises in a genre that the band themselves term 'art pop'. Founding members Dai Evans and Eoin Jordan hail from Wales and England respectively, though have spent most of their adult lives in Japan, while drummer Manabu Mouri was born and raised in the southern Japanese city of Fukuoka.
