Drawing from a wide range of influences including melancholic R&B producers 40 and The-Dream, 90s house, shoegaze and the video games of Square-Enix, Naminé can be best described as cinematic electronic music. After two self-releasing EPs, EP (2010) and Neon (2011), and the Velvet 7" through Life Aquatic (2011), in 2013, Baylis released his debut album, Celestial Love on Melbourne's Bossman Records.
