About Naima Band
Members: Hamzeh Yeganeh - Keyboard & Piano Amin taheri - Drums Ali Pournegahban - Bass Makan Ashkwari - Vocal Mahan Mirarab - Electric Guitar . Two jazz workshops by famous international jazz pianist Vahag Hayrapetyan in summer and autumn of 2005 in Tehran gathered many talented young Persian musicians interested in jazz music. Naima band was formed out of these musicians and its first line up was: Mahan Mirarab (electric guitar), Hamzeh Yeganeh (piano and keyboard), Amin Taheri (drums) and Dara Daraee (bass guitar).
