About Mystic Siva
Mystic Siva is a progressive/psychedelic rock band from Detroit formed in 1967 by four teenagers, none older than 15. They recorded only one LP, Mystic Siva, which was released in 1970 and reissued in 2014. The band consists of Al Tozzi (guitar, co-songwriting), Art Thienel (bass, vocals), Marc Heckert (organ, vocals), and Dave Mascarin (drums, lead vocals, principal songwriting). Under the Influence, an unreleased gem, is perhaps even better than the self-titled LP. It features live recordings from 1969.
