Myrkvid is a French black metal band formed in 2007 in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. One of the underground scene’s most uncompromising acts, Myrkvid blends raw old-school black metal with elements of blasphemous intensity and Black ’n’ Roll energy, crafting a sound that feels both rooted in the genre’s early ethos and fiercely individual. From their beginnings playing shows across France, Belgium and Germany, Myrkvid quickly established themselves with ferocious performances and gritty releases.
