My So-Called Friend is a power-pop foursome from Boston, Massachusetts. The band was born in the summer of 2005 when Erik Carleton (vocals, guitar) and Andrew Sgro (guitar, vocals) decided to abandon their old projects and team up to write a record that blended both of their loves: song craft and power pop.
