About Music By Em
Music By Em was formed in 1996 and called it quits late 2000. Of his prior bands, Rasmus Kellerman says Music By Em is the only one that matters. The band asked Kellerman to be its bassist in 1996. Before the first practice, the vocalist is fired and Kellerman is asked to sing. It worked out; by 1997 Music by Em had a publishing deal with Universal Publishing. In 1998 they played at three of the biggest festivals in Sweden and were dubbed "the most promising unsigned band" in fanzines and magazines across the country.
