About Murkage Dave
Leytonstone-born Murkage Dave (David Lewis) is a R&B / soul musician inspired by UK garage and founder of The Murkage Cartel (Manchester arts organisation) & Tonga (London club night). The Murkage Cartel is made up of the band Murkage, and a culturally diverse assortment of DJs, musicians, photographers, film makers, designers and bloggers. Tonga is a London-based event in partnership with Mike Skinner of The Streets. Murkage Dave has collaborated musically with Mike Skinner, Jaykae, Skepta, and french rapper Nekfeu.
