Mum Dad and the Kids are from Brighton (UK), comprising lead-singer/guitarist Tim Harbridge, bassist Joe Watson (ex Stereolab), guitarist Etienne Rhodes (Clowwns), and drummer Simon Adams, the band play a "high-tempo compound of power-pop and glam rock, with some excellent songs and edgy, intelligent lyrics."
