About Muckle Flugga
Muckle Flugga are an Edinburgh-based band comprising Dave Gifford, who plays fiddle and various whistles; Bob Crosbie, who plays guitar, tenor banjo, and mandola; and Claire Murdoch, who plays fiddle and bodhran. Muckle Flugga have been playing together since 2005 - firstly as a duo (Dave and Bob). In 2009 they were joined by Abbie Patterson for a time. Then in 2011, Claire Murdoch became the third member of the trio. They have an extensive collection of Celtic music in their repertoire.
