Gold Coast, Australia: 2000-present Gold Coast rockers Mourning Tide began in 2000, as four friends with the same vision: to be the most entertaining and unique band in the emerging hardcore/metal scene. Touring hard and partying harder has earned them a strong local following on the East Coast. In 2003, Mourning Tide released their successful self-titled debut EP, through Modern Music/Sony/BMG. From this success, Mourning Tide have supported and toured with international guests - Eighteen Visions
