There are at least four groups/acts called Mountaineer. 1. Mountaineer is the moniker used by Dutch singer, songwriter and musician Marcel Hulst, who is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Having released an album with his band Maggie Brown (2014), he started recording his acoustic songs for the Mountaineer project, making a slightly psychedelic kind of indie folk or americana. Mountainer released three albums: 1974 (2015), Lewis & Clark (2022) and Country Dragon (2026).
