About Mountain Hoodoo
Mountain Hoodoo is Steve and Lisa McAdams, a husband and wife duo from the mountains of northwestern South Carolina. Born and raised in Georgia’s Appalachian foothills, both were influenced by the rich culture and music of the area. Steve’s early lessons on guitar came from Friday night jam sessions held at Phil Tanner’s “Chicken House”, an actual chicken house that was converted into a well-known gathering place for old-time and bluegrass musicians.
