Mount Shrine was an ambient/drone project of Cesar Alexandre, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The project usually was characterized by long and repetitive "low-end droning" tracks and 'slow-motion song movements', incorporating lo-fi field recordings, fainting tape hiss and vinyl crackle, and recurrent themes of abandoned urban places and lonely rainy nights. Initially recording and self-releasing various albums and EPs through his own Bandcamp since late 2017
