About Motion
Motion are a lo-fi psychedelic rock band, formed in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2016. The band quickly made a name for themselves in early 2017 after the release of a demo version of Myths. The song received airplay in the UK, mainland Europe and was put on rotation on college radio in the USA. August 2017 saw the release of the eagerly anticipated self produced Motion EP which was met with high praise from critics and fans alike. Motion’s style combines angular guitars, dreamy shoegaze textures, catchy pop melodies and sharp lyrics.
