About Most Unpleasant Men
In January 2009, Most Unpleasant Men released their debut album. The Utrecht-based band resembles artist like Eels, Phoenix en Coldplay They took the time and made the effort to conscientiously mould their narrative songs. That took a while. They have therefore, appropriately, named the album Nothing Moves Slower. The title is also a reference to the generally relaxed pace of the songs. However, the addition of strings, wind section and choruses provided all 12 songs with a pronounced sound and proves that slow does not equal lethargic.
