About Mortarblast
Mortar Blast was formed in early 1998. The original line up was Kevin vocals, Jenn vocals, Charlie bass, Pete guitar, and Doyle on drums. This line up practiced and wrote material but never played a show. In the fall of 1998 Jay joined the band playing second guitar. This line up practiced for a couple months before Doyle decided to leave the band. Pete took over on drums leaving Jay at guitar. The band wrote material and recorded a demo in the summer of 1999.
