Morris Pejoe brought a Louisianna Cajun influence to 1950s Chicago Blues guitar, along with a bit of Texas. His band included the great Blues pianist Otis Spann (who later joined Muddy Water's band). He liked the use of horns in his rather raw sounding Blues band and later in his career the group sounded more like a big-band than a Chicago Blues combo. Doug Pratt, Atlanta, Ga., USA, 1/4/11
